EMDR

EMDR

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing is a powerful-evidence based treatment for reprocessing trauma and other challenging experiences.

EMDR helps to reprocess and desensitize upsetting memories that get stored in ways that keeps individuals from moving on. Adverse memories that stay stuck can be triggered in the present day at unexpected times, causing anxiety, depression, hypervigilance, and more. EMDR uses bilateral stimulation (like eye movements) to help reprocess and desensitize memories, freeing you from their impact.

Parts Work

Parts work, also known as Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy offers a unique perspective on understanding and healing the various parts within your inner world.

Just as a family is composed of individuals with their own roles and dynamics, your inner world consists of various parts, each with its own thoughts, emotions, and intentions. Some parts may be nurturing and supportive, while others may be critical or fearful. Like in any family, conflicts can arise among these internal parts, leading to inner struggles and challenges in your daily life. The goal of IFS is to help individuals explore and understand these internal parts, fostering harmony and balance within the mind.

Psychedelic Support

Psychedelic-assisted therapy integrates psychedelics like psilocybin, MDMA, or ketamine with therapeutic techniques. Research indicates promising effectiveness in easing depression, anxiety, PTSD, addiction, OCD, grief, and end-of-life distress.

I currently offer individual ketamine assisted psychotherapy and plan to expand these offerings to MDMA and psilocybin assisted therapy as the legal landscape evolves.

Holistic Therapy

A holistic approach to mental health care recognizes the complexity of individuals, considering emotions, physical health, relationships, environment, and spiritual beliefs as crucial to well-being. It views each person as a whole entity, not just a diagnosis, and aims to promote comprehensive healing by addressing the interconnected needs of the mind, body, and spirit.
